Catalog: Aprons

Original Retro Apron
This apron was designed off a picture I found on the internet of a vintage apron. It has a circular neckline and it just comes over the head...no neck ties. The curved edges in the back add a nice drape.  The ties are long enough that they can tie in the back or the front.  It has two pockets which are the perfect size for that utensil that you have no where else to put!

"Yes, I am Spunky" Apron
I designed this apron from a picture. It has a tie in the front on the side and ties in the back. It has a heart neckline accented by the accent fabric. It also has a ruffle around the bottom. It is really fun and one of my favorites!

Ruffle Apron
This is a basic apron that I made from a fun pattern. It has a V-neck and a ruffle on the bottom. It does not have any pockets although they would be easy to add.  Ties tie in the back.

"I am Your Valentine" Apron
This apron was made from a friend's vintage pattern. It has really cute heart pockets and a heart neckline. It fits over the head without any neck ties. It is very fun!

 "Howdy Cowgirl" Apron

I designed the pattern for this jean apron. In August 2009, it won a Champion ribbon and a special award at the Larimer County Fair. Some of the judge's comments were:
"Good fabric and combination."
"Very creative neckline. Cute ruffles on pocket."
"Excellent use of bandanna fabric and pocket treatment. Very well done!"
"Excellent job - cute project!"

The way it attaches around the neck is with a bandanna which is sewed to the top of the apron. Don't want a red bandanna?... pick from all sorts of fun colors for your apron!  The top of the apron has 3 pleats on each side which allow for a more fitted bust. I also put two tucks in lower down to make a more fitted bodice look.

The sashes that tie in the back are also made out of a bandanna. They are also long enough to be tied in the front like a side-sash.

There are two pockets in the front and they are shaped like jean back pockets. I embroidered an interweaving diamond design on them in red just like jean pants have designs on their pockets. I put a ruffle on top of the pockets with the left-over pieces of the red bandanna I cut up for the tie in the back.

This apron is so fun and I am sure you will love it just as much as I do. I believe this apron would fit all sizes although it would fit someone who had a larger bust slightly different than someone with a smaller bust.

"GO Green" Apron
I designed this apron from another apron a friend had. It is made from recycled jeans and is super cute with a ruffle around the bottom. The waist tie goes through the belt loops in front and can be tied in the back or the front.  This apron won first place in the Larimer County Fair in August 2010 in the Teen Machine Work category.

Fancy Smocked Gingham Apron
I designed this apron from a half-apron my grandma had.  This apron won the Champion award at the Larimer County Fair in August 2010 in the Teen Needlework category.  Some of the judge's comments were:
"Great job of smocking!"
"Nice job of stitching."
"Love the coordinating ruffle and nice job of top-stitching pockets."
The waist, the top of the bodice, and tops of the two pockets are all smocked by hand.  The contrasting ruffle underneath the smocking adds some 'pop' to this gingham apron which ties around the neck and the waist in the back.  This apron will "wow" anyone who pays attention to detail!

Fancy & Flirty Apron
I designed this apron from a picture I saw. The bottom part is made of two fabrics, one underneath and one on top. They are both edged in bias tape. The bow lifts up the top fabric and is a really cute accent. Too fun!  The pocket has a v-shaped accent out of red fabric with a straight edge on the top of the pocket. It has a heart neck. This apron won first place in the Larimer County Fair in August 2010 in the Teen Machine Work category.  Some of the judge's comments were:
"It is very very cute!"
"Very nice stitching!"
"Like the bow and the tape on the apron's bottom."
